These dispersed galleries display a collection of defined building blocks as either a partial or full page preview. Table 1 below defines the 15 built-in building block types and shows how the associated galleries are accessed. But it seems the Java preferences are no longer stored in the registry in Windows 7 - or they are stored somewhere different.In this Microsoft Word Tips & Microsoft Word Help page I will discuss building blocks components introduced in Word 2007 and provide a few tools for enhancing their use. We use the Java preferences in some of our apps and haven't really noticed this since the utility that makes the calls is fairly old and was written in Windows XP days.
